chimichurri

WHAT IS CHIMICHURRI?

Often called the salsa of Argentina, chimichurri is a vibrant, fresh herb sauce made with Italian parsley, garlic, extra-virgin olive oil, red wine vinegar red pepper flacks, and a touch of salt and pepper. Bold, garlicky, and herbaceous, it is the perfect companion to grilled meats, empanadas, and almost anything else you put it on. Chef Marcelo's authentic version is hand-crafted fresh on Vancouver Island, staying true to traditional Argentine roots. Once you taste the real thing, store-bought will never compare.
